Ladies - when did you notice your nipples getting darker? And how did it occur? For instance... it seems as though my areolas are getting darker but only near the "rim" where the nipple meets the actual skin... Did this happen to you all or was it a gradual darkening of the entire area?

I'm 15 weeks, and I'm just now noticing that my areolas are slightly darker around the edges (like you described). I'm not sure if I'm imagining it, though. It's not a huge drastic change.

The night before I did my pregnancy test I noticed they were darker...and maybe TMI, but my usually light pink vagina was more of a dull pink also.
The next morning, I just KNEW I was pregnant and did a test...

Darkening around the outside of the areola is very common for pregenant wemon.
It doesn't mean that there is anything wrong, just like the breast enlarging, it is an expected thing.

My nipples darkened after 2nd child.
I wish they made a lightening gel for that.

it was weird when i found out. i was like 5 months pregnant and i caught a glimps at my self in the mirror as i got out of the shower and i was like holy sh*t!!! my nipples dark!!! but they were a lighter shade around the actual nipple

mine turned dark right away, it was very noticeable cause I'm light skin. that's how I found out I was pregnant...

right away but also all kinds of vains was coming out on my chest.
