My parents like to take credit for the good things i do, but if i do something "wrong" they blame it on other people, like my friends or other family members? appearently, im unable to think for myself and make my OWN decisions...

That's a shame!! I mean they should give you credit for the things you do that are good, I mean it's not like the decision was theirs to make. No my parents were not like that at all. I got congratulated when I did good and I got well spanked, grounded, and so on when I was bad. They are proud of me and that I am their child but they don't claim credit for things I do or don't do. Wow, I'm sorry for you. I mean it could be good when you do bad things I mean hey they blame someone else! But to take credit for all of your good things that is a bit much.

no, i make sure everyone knows that what I do is for me and no one else. and no one is in charge of me. when you do something wrong tell your parents that it was you and no one else. does that make sense?
