I would say to dress in a business casual way, This means no jeans and sneakers, nor does it mean formal either. After all, it is only a college interview, not an interview for an executive career position. They will be judging you pretty much on your previous performance in school, activities, interests and so on. Mainly, they will be trying to determine whether or not you have what it takes to be successful in that particular college/university, and how you dress really is not a factor, and, by itself, will not get you admitted into the school. Your attitude will play more of a role in getting admitted than will the way you dress. But I'm NOT suggesting that its OK to be sloppy, no ,not at all. Just go with a good, positive attitude, and dress sensibly.
Anyway, best of luck to you!

You should invest in a pair of black pants, they could be form fitting (but not TOO tight), but they should be dress-pant material. Jeans never make a good impression in any interview. Also, dress shirts (fitting ones, so it looks like you have style) with a sweater vest are pretty safe with interviews. Or, a cardigan, with a top underneat that's not too low cut. You could even wear a blazer instead of a cardigan.
Most employers during interviews prefer if you wear solid coloured clothes... no print! It's simple and more professional. When I worked at Jacob Connexion, I picked up that people take you more seriously if you wear professional clothing. This means solid coloured clothes, dress pants, LIGHT makeup, simple earring like studs. Hoop earrings are a nono for interviews unless they're small. They're too casual.
You could wear your hair up or down, just make sure it's not messy.
And to calm down, there's really nothing I can recommend. Maybe practice interviewing with a friend? I've been to many interviews, for school and work, and I've been nervous before all of them. It's natural.

1] dress semi professionally. A nice pair of pants or skirt, pretty top [ fitted womens Tshirt is ok ], a jacket if you wish, and decent shoes. Handbag should be in good shape
2] wear a moderate amount of makeup - not too heavy, not too light.
3] hoops are ok
4] hair should be clean and neat - don't need to put it up
5] ditto nails and teeth
6] use lots of deodorant and mouthwash - very little if any scent [ bothers many people's sinuses ]
7] bring a notebook with a list of questions about the school - research enough to learn what you need to ask!
8] do not chew gum, eat candy, or smoke during interview
9]\ walk up to interviewer with hand out to shake; say, "Hi, I'm
[ your name ]. How are you?" First move seems to make people less nervous.

drink a couple shots of vodka an hour or so before...
it'll really help you calm down, and you wont even be drunk, (just barely buzzed if anything)
for a girl like you, i would recommend mixing a shot with orange juice or even cola
HAVE FUN ;)
