I think it's kwanza, but my girlfriend says it's festivus.

Your girlfriend is correct. Festivus was invented by the writers of the show Seinfeld, which is set in NYC. Kwanza was invented by Ron Everett, a convicted felon from California.

Frank Costanza invented Festivus. It is from the show Seinfeld. So the answer is Festivus (show takes place in NYC)

Kwanza was first proposed by a very left winged thinking PhD teaching at Cal State Long Beach. I forget what his name is because I live in LA and I hate to think this left winger lives in the
same state as I do. You can find him on the web. Unfortunately there are a lot more like him out there.

festivous is the holiday created by george castanza's dad in Seinfeld. so ya it's festivous.
