The key word in my question is ANIMATED. I was asking if people over 50 liked ANY of the newer ones that were made for television viewers. If you are under 50, you can answer, but please post if you are under the age of 50, as it would help me to have concise answers to the original question. AGE MATTERS ON THIS POST...Please don't be offended. Just say "under" or "over" to let me know your age...if you want to be helpful.

I'm 67 and I do like" King of the Hill ". It's the only show , animated or otherwise, that exhibits positive family values. It's also the only show that doesn't portray the Father as a total idiot. Its sort of a modernized Father knows best.
Check it out sometime.
The other shows you mention ...not so much.

I like all of them and I am almost 55. I don't watch any of them on a regular basis though. I am more likely to watch Discovery channel or History or antiques Road Show.
Also likely to watch older movies but probably only spend about 2 hours a day with TV.

Hello Children...............The Simpsons and Family Guy are good but South Park is probably the best cartoon since black and white Popeye cartoons (particularly the comments Popeye mumbles under his breath). I'm not quite 50 but I can see it from here without my glasses.

I'm 72 and like them. I'm tired of the Simpsons tho'. Some of the Japanese anime cartoons are interesting.

I am 55 and I LOVE The Simpsons and especially South Park. I know South Park is disgusting and I wouldn't want kids to watch it, but it's the funniest, most outrageous stuff I've ever seen. I'd love to meet the writers.

No, hubby and I don't care for these. Give us some old car-
toon classics tho, and we may just sit and watch a few.
What happened to Heckle and Jeckyl and Tom and Jerry?
I used to love, Mighty Mouse as a kid too. Or even the Road
Runner? There's just not anything about the adult cartoons I
can stand to watch. Give me the old family fare type every
time.

I am an animation fan.
I don't really care for South Park and while they are not quite sitcoms my favorites are Futurama and Tripping the Riff.
