My friend niece keeps wanting to hang out?

I'm 22 female, my friend is 28 and her niece is 15.
Her niece was suppose to come visit her for the Christmas but ended up staying longer, she keeps wanting to come down my house and spend the whole day here, or just hang out.She seem to prefer coming spending time with me than with her aunt.
Do you think that is strange that a kid that age will want to hang out with a me?
