Yes. He is one of my favorite authors. I have read all five of this series. Also, he has other books set in Edinburgh and they are good. I just received his newsletter which has information about the filming of "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency". He has another small series of books, one of which I just received from Ebay, "Portugeuse Irregular Verbs". This set is very funny.
An actress named Jill Scott is cast as Precious Ramotswe. The newsletter does not say when the movie will be available on PBS. I hope it is soon.
