Because "stuff" does not bring happiness. Jesus brings fulfillment and fulfillment brings happiness.

Were you happy before? Has something happened to make you unhappy, or have you just lost interest in life? If the latter, it may be that you should see a doctor. If the former, is it just a temporary grief (everybody gets that) or is it that you never found happiness?
If it is that you sought happiness in riches but have not found it there, it means that you don't know how to be happy. Money is good, but it doesn't cause happiness.

This is an age old issue that many people have faced and will continue to face. One of the primary things that makes most people happy is the company of other people who share similar interests. Think back to when you were a child or teenager and think of the things that made you happen and what you enjoyed doing. Something that would help you unwind for the day or something you could look forward to doing. Something simplistic in its endeavors that allows you to relieve your stress.

Look for something the interests you and truly grabs and engages your imagination. Then, go out and associate with people who share this interest.

In a crisis like your's many people find religion. Others go the other way and delve into excesses (which there are those who excess into religion). The important thing is to find something(s) to be passionate about and to find people to share your life and passions with. Those are the true keys of happiness.

The problem is that you are rich...That means you are thinking that wealth will solve any problem. No. Only the peaceful mind is producer of happy. Throw your depressions whatever you have, and look at the world through the new different brave eyes...!

My family hardly has any money and I feel ungrateful because some have no money at all. Even though I dream of having lots of money, same as in your situation, it probably would not buy me happiness.

Maybe its not the money that is troubling, look around you and find out.

The health of your close relationships (family and friends) determines your happiness in life. You need to care and have others care about you. Be generous with your wealth.

Money willnever bring you happiness. You need to invest in your relationships with your family and friends and take time doing things you enjoy, reading biking movies whatever and figure yourself out. You wont be happy at all in life until you are happy with yourself

If money no longer makes you happy, try to figure out what does. If its friends/family, spend more time with them. If its vacation, get out more. Time alone, read a book.
