She has about 105k miles right now, and I drive about 10k per year. It has never given me any problems, and I maintain it fairly well. Are there any major repairs I will likely encounter in the next few years?

On a side note: I keep getting pressure to sell it from my family because "it's going to breakdown soon", but I'm perfectly happy with my car... Frankly, I love my car, and not having a car note (unlike the rest of my family) makes it all that much better.

I have made a habit over the years of driving cars for at least ten years. The money saved in not having payments more than makes up for what maintenance you have to do. And if you drive sanely and keep the vehicle up to snuff the major problems are few to none. Wish I could convince my kids to do what you're doing. It's a mighty nice feeling to be able to save a few bucks.

So long as you keep it well maintained and so you can get anywhere from 250k or more out of the car before you start seeing any need for major problems. That's not to say that something won't come along before because you can't always predict what a car is going to do but the only thing you can is just maintain it and see what happens

Your vehicle will last as long as you take care of it. Don't let your family pressure you into getting rid of it if you don't want to. Take your vehicle to a shop that you trust and get there opinion from them. But watch what they do to your vehicle.
