Yes, I sadly watched my father die, but I was glad I was there to hold his hand & hopefully he knew I was there to console him, make him feel less lonely & peaceful when he died. I miss him so much! My only comfort is that I believe he's with my Mom (they would have been married 60 years if she had lived 10 more days...) & is happy playing golf & walking (since he was a parapalegic). I also watched my wonderful mother-in-law die - my husband & I stayed with her & she let us know that she was okay with dying by touching my husband's hand very softly. We unfortunately had to go home to take care of our dog when she died, but at least his cousin was with her...We miss her so much (even though it's been almost three years ago). Death can be a very peaceful process...but also it's very sad for the people left behind.

Yes, I saw someone die before my eyes and I did not like it. My maternal grandmother was in a Nursing Home and my family and I were sitting around her while she was lying in her bed as she was very ill and the doctor had told us she wouldn't live long. I was holding her hand and as she started to die in front of us, I shook her and called her name as I didn't want her to die but my mother and aunts and everyone else told me to stop that and to let her just "go". I cried and cried. It was awful and very, very sad.

Yes....my best friend got shot right in front of my eyes when we came out of the gym! It was terrible and I couldn't do anything to help her! She studied fashion design, her father had a top position with the government...but why did she have to pay the price...she was so innocent!! May she rest in peace!!!

Yes, my dad. Also saw an accident victim die. Get this, when I came upon this accident, the car had just caught fire. I grabbed my fire extinguisher and put the fire out. the guy was sitting in the seat like he was sleeping. A guy walked up to me and said not to bother with it cuz he was dead anyway. I just ignored him, but found out later that he was an off duty fire captain.

yeah twice. the first time a senior from my high school was driving and he had a seizure and he crashed his car and took out a brick wall and then his car flipped over and hit a tree. i was across the street and i saw him laying there when he was dying. And then i guess this one isn't really me seeing him die but my best friend's brothers best friend got in a car crash on his way to school and i drove past him and his arm was hanging out of the car.
