I'm puzzled, Last week i was watching an old yankee Red Sox game from 2004,The one when Jeter took that dive into the stands! anyway,Kevin Youkillis was in the lineup,he was a rookie! I thought he just signed with the red sox last yr! Does he have 2 WS rings with boston?

Yoouk has being on the team for a while, and has 2 ws rings. He just became a consistent starter just last season.

No, he was always on their team. In 2004 the regular starter, Bill Mueller got hurt and Youkilis came up from the minors. He was on the roster of the 2004 team, so I think hes has 2 world series rings.

I know he played for the Portland Seadogs before the Red Sox. He played for the Sox in 2004, so he should have two World Series rings. Check out his bio on redsox.com

you are still considered a rookie if you don't play a certain minimum number of at bats/games in the bigs......for example, Ellsbury will still be a rookie next year....heck, Dice K despite 7 years in JMLB was a rookie...so yes, Youk was a rookie in 2004 AND 2005....
