Don't commit to the first possibilities that come along, if they might block you from better opportunities which might come up later. Also, don't make a lot of assumptions, and don't rely on rumors from your friends. For example, if you run short of money, don't just assume you will have to drop out to fix the problem, go to the financial aid office.

yeah.. I'm 19 and finishing up community college next semester and transferring to a university. best advice is do the assignments as soon as possible. doing things early leaves time for looking over the papers again so that you can improve them. resulting in higher grades which help you get into a higher range of universities and to continue on for a doctorate or masters. also you should do all the reading, and re-read to be able to comprehend.
I'm not sure where you are.. but the max that I'm allowed to transfer is 70 units.. and I'm going to complete 69. so take as many classes as you can handle.. some people can handle different loads. some have a hard time with 6, 9, 12.. others can take 20+ which will make your college length shorten drastically.

take as many classes as u can at community college that u possibly can, because if anything they can transfer as ur elective credits...cheaper...

also
take only 4 classes each semester if u plan on working as well u go to school and make sure one is an easy class...like something u enjoy...great fun easy class-history of rock n roll

also make it easy on u take all ur classes in 2 days like set them up all tues and thurs or all mon and wed classes saves gas and easier that way...make sure u set a break in there somewhere also when doing this

anything else email me...I also went to community college first
then major university...

Read Napolean Hill, "Think and Grow Rich". This is the best advice I can offer in a forum like this.

dont take it too seriously and party your *** off, study (of course), experiment with mind altering drugs. College is supposed to be the best time of your life and if you dont have any fun you will regret it.
