You'll be amazed on how much people really know about the UFO phenomenon. It just shows you that people tune in to the media and movies for facts. Try going to a local MUFON meeting, they will tell you what your interested in and much more. There are thousands of classified material our gov and other world gov's that are being hidden from the public. Most notably, the famous Roswell incident, which really happen. if you don't believe then research the people who worked at the base and witenesses, they will tell you the truth and not lies which the gov has done the opposite. Are you new to USA, considering you have little knowledge on area 51? the gov does not want to tell us this b/c is there responsibility if some wackos start a revolution, an c'mon, if these documents and bodies(YES BODIES) get out, that will make people anarchists, which will ultimately cause the downfall fn this corrupted government.

There is an Area 51. It is located in a dry lakebed called Groom Lake, in Nevada, and was "formally" known as the "Groom Lake Facility"
This facility was different from most military facilities in that it did not "officially" exist. It is no doubt that the facility was used for testing of classified aircraft but I doubt anything "alien" in origin ever existed there.
The undoing of the secrecy of Area 51 came in two forms. First of all, the bases "non-existant" status allowed it to bypass EPA regulations and burn hazardous chemicals out in the desert. It's thought that exposure to these chemicals resulted in the death of one, or a few of the bases workers. The widow of one of these workers decided to sue the federal government for wrongful death but was unable to continue with the lawsuit because there was no documentation of the base even existing.
Until, event #2. The U.S. Geological survey, completely unaware of the existence of the Groom Lake Facility, photographed it in one of it's aerial geological surveys and discovered a whole facility that shouldn't have been there.
It was this evidence which eventually prompted former U.S. President Bill Clinton, to sign the base into official existence.
Today the base is anything but secret and you can see photos of it online. It is, however, still very off limits to the public.

Area 51 is a remote tract of land in the southwestern portion of Lincoln County in southern Nevada in the western United States. Situated at its center, on the southern shore of a large salt lake, is a large military airfield, one of the most secretive places in the world. The base's primary purpose is to support development and testing of new military aircraft and to analyse foreign aircraft and weapons systems. [1][2]
The base lies within the United States Air Force's vast Nevada Test and Training Range. Although the facilities at the range are managed by the 99th Air Base Wing at Nellis Air Force Base, the Groom facility appears to be run as an adjunct of the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at Edwards Air Force Base in the Mojave Desert, around 160 miles (260 km) from Groom (AFFTC homepage), and as such the base is known as Air Force Flight Test Center (Detachment 3).[3][4]
Other names used for the facility include Dreamland, Paradise Ranch[5], Home Base, Watertown Strip, and Groom Lake[6]. The area is part of the Nellis Military Operations Area, and military pilots refer to the forbidden airspace around it (R-4808N[7]) as The Box.
The intense secrecy surrounding the base, the very existence of which the US Government barely acknowledges, has led it to become the frequent subject of conspiracy theories and UFO folklore.

I think we have, why do people not want to believe we are the only ones in this section of the universe??
Look at the big picture, how did you get here?
Why are (is)our planets all dead except the 3rd one from the sun?
We as humans probably cannot handle the real truth, and we are not ready for the things that are "out there". Like traveling the speed of light, doesn't that in it self sound fun to do?
Keep dreaming and enjoy the thoughts that educate your sense of well being!!!

Hi Zuzu -
LindaJune is right. You are listening to the wrong people, because it's sort of fun and scarey to think about the possibility of such things actually existing. If you listen to the folks who make a living at the science and not at the science fiction (i.e. by scaring people) you will quickly discover that all of these conspiracy theories have absolutely no basis in fact. Sorry - the truth is not as exciting - until you really understand it - then its more exciting.

i love the Area 51 stuff... its SO like the military to take something serious and make it look stupid to misdirect people's attention.
boy, did THAT backfire! guess they underestimated the power of stupid. Instead of people rolling their eyes and saying "Oh, the tinfoil hat crowd..." they LINE UP at the gates and take pictures of everything that moves!

No, no, and no.
Research it and make up your own mind about all this - there is no scientific proof or evidence to support any of it.
No, no, and because it's not real.
