PETRIFIED!! But I won't kill em'...bad Karma to kill a spider...I have come up with the best device to catch them though....you get 2 rolls of Christmas wrap, tape them together so you have one giant roll which ends up being about 2 metres in length....plenty of distance between you and that fury little beast! Knock it down gently, throw a glass over it, then release it into my neighbors tree where it can be free and happy, and well away from my house!!
I crap myself when I walk past that tree because I wreckon there are a zillion spiders in there that I have released!!

but seriously, ya i am. ino its an irrational fear, esp. cuz im way bigger than them, but im kinda fragile, & it dont take a big creature 2 bite hard! everything about them creeps me out tho: their appearance, the way they move - fast or slow...actually slow is creepier - @ least 4 tarantulas. their bite is what im most afraid of tho.
but dont get me wrong, i dont kill them - anymore. Radar ( MASH ) had a big influence on me, & i stopped murdering innocent "little" freaks awhile ago. i catch them in a cup now w/ a paper over the top & throw them out the door.

No. But my roomate was. She had to quit college biology because someone decided the class tarantula was a good "pet" to carry around.
