Well you really can't have good character without intelligence.
But then again there are those with intelligence and no character.
When it comes down to it character by far is higher..You could have all the intelligence in the world but if you aren't a pleasure to be around and you do nothing positive with that intelligence but be arrogant, then it's useless.

They're not exactly opposites or unrelated. An intelligent person can posture and compose himself to a character of his choosing, and a person of high character can be heart wise without being knowledgable.
