Leaving Pets at home for a few weeks - read on?

i'm leaving my dog and half a dozen fish for 2 weeks, i don't know whether i should ask someone to come and feed them every so - or get some close friends to take care of them.

I agree with everyone on here so far.. make sure there is someone that your dog is used to, so that you or the person don't have any problems.. The fish don't care who feeds them as long as they get fed.. At least once a day (depending on how often you feed your dog) will be fine. Or everyother day and put out extra food if that's the case.

Leaving them without food and water for 2 weeks can be considered wilful neglect and you could be charged with cruelty. Not to mention you dog and fish would probably die from starvation. How would you like to not be feed for 2 weeks?
Get someone to come look after them. Hire a pet sitter or board your dog and have a neighbour feed the fish.

Get a friend, relative or neighbor to care for them..or you can always hire a professional pet sitter to care for them.

get someone to feed them hun. And depending on the fish, you should have them check the water regularly

You need someone to come and care for them at least twice a day - and preferably stay overnight at your house. They will do best in your own home.

Close friends would be better, as your dog is better associated with them.
