How you cook it has a lot to do with the taste, but for the most part I would have to say I think of venison when I have it.

Awesome actually. This is kinda a random question but okay =] It tastes really great if it's prepared properly, especially in soup.

when i was growing up one of my best friends was pakistani...his family had a celebration....sometime in fall or winter...the men took the goat out into the woods hung him by his hind legs and slit his throat...after skinning him and gutting him the women prepared some kind of dish that had alot of curry in it,,,surprisingly it was really tasty...consistency of chewing on a steak...meat was tender...not gamy like i expected..i would compare it to sirloin tips

I can tell you that is better than chiken or beef, however it depends a lot how you prepare it. It is definetely more expensive as well. If you are ever in Mexico you should ask for "Birria" which is most known for in mexico, you are going to love it.
