I did look it up, rĭth'əm, 2 syllables
Is the other vowel the "t", the "h", or the "m"?
How is this possible?
Are there any similar words with no vowel (a,e,i,o,u,y,w) in a syllable?

Any word ending in "-ism" also has a syllable without a vowel. And the names McIntosh, McIntyre, McElroy, and others have an ACCENTED syllable without a vowel.
