Ok i'm sure this has been used over and over again but hasnt everything?
Well there is this young girl who cant fit in (she has powers) and she is in love with her best friend who tries to protect her from her dad who abuses her. But her mom doesnt like her and thinks her husbands anger stems from the powerful girl so she sends her to a boarding school away from her love. They write letters for months and decide to meet up in the woods but while she waits in the shadows of the forest something happens. Some ones watching. Some one...not human.
Thats all i got so far, but do you think it would be interesting? Thank you if u read! :D

It would make a good story..make the father the one watching in the forest because he knows she is coming into her powers and she can lead him to something amazing which she doesn't know yet. He was once magical too but turned evil when he was cursed at a certain age - by her mom sending her to the forest boarding school it advances her powers because she was always destined to return to this magical forest and grow into her powers.
a good title maybe The Roots of the Forest

I don't exactly know what you were going for but I think it would make an interesting addition to the Juvenile section of the library.

I hate to say it but that story screams hokey and contrived. Go rethink it without as many plot complications.
