I would rather spend a weekend alone kayaking in the wilderness because the week days I can spend with whoever I want and so weekends are down time for me.

my friends. They're much more entertaining and less annoying [well.. most of the time.] haha. although.. it might depend upon which of my friends I would spend the weekend with.. I know one would cover me in glitter, one would try and sex me in my sleep, and a few would try and tie me up for revenge... haha. Oh well. It would still be fun ^^

That would depend.
If it were with my mom's side of the family, I'd choose them. I love them like crazy, and I can honestly say that if they weren't family, I'd still want to be friends with them.
If it were my dad's side, well... not so much.
