Yes, that's unsanitary and a health code violation. I'd tell the manager.

Good luck,
Dana

Absolutely - this is the main way in which diseases and illnesses are spread. The ice machine at my old workplace used to be located near the restrooms, and I was sick all the time - at least two or three colds a month. I looked and began to notice a LOT of people reaching in the bin with their BARE HANDS to grab a cube or two of ice on their way out of the restroom. As an experiment, I stopped getting ice from the bin for a period of two months; I didn't get sick once. I reported the situation to HR, by the way. It stopped.

Yes, I actually have but in this case, I actually confronted her about it. And then I told her manager. I actually saw the lady. Because I went into the restroom to wash my hands before I sat down. And I saw the lady, come to ind out she was going to be my waitress. Nasty right? I know how could someone do this evidently she couldn't read.

Yes, I would report her to her manager loud enough for all of her other tables to hear. Then I would call the local Health Inspector and have a surprise inspection done on that restaurant. Unwashed hands handling food is a great way to transmit hepatitis.

I'm not that picky about anything. That really wouldn't bother me. She doesn't touch the food anyway, she just takes the order.

So no, I wouldn't.

And how would I know?

Well, I geuss if I were a woman and went to the bathroom and saw her and observed her and such.

But I wouldn't have too big of a problem with her.

I followed her and she went back to work so I talked to the manager, reported her and got my refund, they gave me a coupon for a free dinner for us all the next time we came in and we left.... It is so gross and it happens allot.....gag
