For years I believed, then gave up. Not enough 'hard data'.

An awful lot of credible people have seen "unidentified" things in the sky, including trained pilots, air force personnel, police officers, heck even Jimmy Carter when he was a Governor. There have been mass sightings where 50 or more people all saw the same thing, as well as sightings from multiple vantage points, some corroborated by radar. Japan's government recently stated that they are keeping files of UFO sightings.
You don't have to get all carried away with believing, just that there are things in the sky that we can't identify. Skeptics have said some pretty unbelievable things too. . . a flock of geese? Swamp gas, really?

I saw plenty of UFOs when I lived in New Mexico. Remember UFO is Unidentified Flying Object. Not meaning it is a space ship or aliens. The object is unknown.

You should believe as you choose to believe.
I for one am very impressed that you have explained all the cases left unidentified in Project Bluebook alone.
Many people confuse believing in UFOs with believing that UFOs (unidentified flying objects) can only be explained as alien space craft.

If UFOs are real, if the stories of cover-ups and gov't conspiracies are true. Then at the least, at the very least, the US gov't is very, very good and efficient at something.

I really want them to be real. I wish they would come down right now and say Hi. But untill I actually see one myself, clearly and for real, I can't believe in them. The same goes with Bigfoot, Nessy, Ghosts, and even God for that matter.

Would "believing in them" make any difference if you saw one? I think if you saw one...you'd believe..right then and there. So why worry yourself over it. I'm pretty sure there are flying saucers...but we'll probably never see one. Maybe the generations ahead of us will. I don't want to see one. I hope Jesus doesn't come back in one and the govt. shoots HIM down!!
EDIT..OK..I DIDN'T say that's the way I think HE'LL come back!!
We have a friend who said he saw one in New Jersey years ago..along with his mother and lots of other people.
psi..Thanks for that link. I've gone to a Mufon link before..but I don't think it was this one. If I can get our friend to find where he put his report..I'll try to copy it for you.

i beleive in them.. although i have never seen them. our solar system.. has one star which is the main source of life in this planet... our galaxy itself has millions of stars.. don.t you think that there should be life SOMEWHERE THERE? and our whole universe.. thats even more massive.. dont you think theres life anywhere there...
a friend of mine has some dealings with fbi and was therefore allowed to go thru some of their files.. he said that the fbi due to instructions from the us goverment is actually hiding something.. aliens have landed.. its just that they are hiding it. several docmentaries on tv have also indicated the same thing. whether this is tru or not.. i cant tell you for sure.. but just remember this

seeing is not beleiving.. believing is seeing

think about it..

If you look at the sky long enough, you're bound to see something that appears to be "flying" that you can't identify.

Leaping to the conclusion that it's a craft piloted by little green men is a bit much, though.

technically they are real bescause "UFO" stands for unidentified flying object and a glider made by hand would be unidentied or a remote controlled helocopter

There is no evidence supporting the existence of alien spacecraft visiting Earth. It's all based on pure speculation and superstition.
