On the motorola model H700...is it possible to change the battery? If so, how much do they cost?

This really depends if you're really committed to replace the battery. The cost of replacement may be higher than how much the headset is worth and the difficulty may vary depending on your experience with electronics.
Hint: It's a snap on fit, you can try to wedge it apart and take a look at the pcb board. The battery would look like a silver foil pack with red and black wires dangling around it. (Red is +, Black is -)

I've never found any way to access the battery on any bluetooth earpiece. If you could open the case, you'd void any warranty AND you'd never find a place to buy a itty bitty battery like you would find in there.
