Because the Colts have nothing to gain by playing him tonight. He played a couple series and took the rest of the night off...

Well, I would rest Manning too, cause playing the meaningless game doesn't worth the risk of injuring your key players.. You want Peyton Manning to be healthy for the playoff.. so yeah that was the wise decision for Dungy..

Because they are resting him and making sure he does not get hurt before the playoffs start. The Colts want their #1 starters healthy for the playoffs and the SUPERBOWL !!!! again....

There is no need to play him in a meaningless game where you can risk an injury. All teams do that that have nothing to play for.

No he was scheduled to shoot a few commercials that simulate games. He's doing that now. He can't play or his make up will run.
