If you had to choose, would you eat your cookies:

super undercooked (all gooey, globbery, and melty)?

or..

super overcooked (all brown, crunchy and hard)?

Not much of a choice here...... if I just HAVE to choose I'd say overcooked is better than raw and undercooked. Dipped in milk it would be ok, I think. I prefer chewy cookies that are cooked just so.

Homemade from scratch, between crunchy and gooey... little of each, hot out of the oven, with a glass of milk. Now if I could only bake...

It all depends what kind of cookie it is. Chocolate chip cookies fresh baked and brown are fine because the chocolate chips are still guey. But a oatmeal rasin cookie is much better guey and soft.
