Not necessarily it is diff. for everyone who has PCOS, before I was diagnosed I was having periods that lasted three weeks or more, if you eat a healthy diet, or if you have lost weight can help you to have regular periods, also if you are on metformin.

No. I have PCOS, and I get my period every month and do not ovulate. Some women with PCOS have infrequent or absent periods, but some may have periods every month. Each woman with PCOS is different. If you need any more information e-mail me! mooreamanda11@yahoo.com.

no, some ladies with pcos can have a period every month and still not ovulate, I have pcos I skip months but I never get nothing less then 6 periods a year, I guess it depends on how bad the pcos is in your symptoms
