I think he's a very smart man with an excellent resume. Does anyone here think there is some chance he could be chosen as VP? Candidates can go outside the pool of those running for president to choose a VP.

He's qualified. But he's very honest. Honesty doesn't seem to be a virtue when you look at the candidates we have.

As for the VP slot, I doubt he's in a hurry to go back to the White House.

Bush wanted loyalty not honesty. Poor Clarke is just one more example of "No good deed goes unpunished."

We'll he did tell the truth, and stood up to Bush when most others didn't. One of the few who wouldn't lie for the Bush Administration. An honest guy, but an unlikly choice. Honesty and politics don't mix

Clark is a self-serving fool. So, no, I do not think he should bother running unless he wishes to have his foolishness made more public than it already is.
