Sorry to hear Hank Thompson passed away about a week ago. Probably no one on this Website knows anything about him.

Well I only hit this Website once every few weeks if that. Seems nothing at all ever mentioned about Hank Williams, Bob Wills, Web Pierce etc.

Partner, I've probably forgotton more about Hank Thompson Than some people know, and the same goes for alot of the regulars who come in here, and some of them blow me right out of the water with how much they know. BTW, He died longer than a week ago.

I think you'll find quite a few of us know a lot about him and his career. If you had paid attention back on Nov.6th when he passed we all had memorial of sorts for him.

Edit: We talk about all the classics around here. All you have to do is ask. Your just not around on the days we do. Today it was mostly questions on Bob Wills & his Texas Playboys. Including past members that played along with him.

Vintage Music, welcome to the circle. There are a few of us around here who talk about music that's a little more swift than Taylor Swift. That would be country music that was recorded at least before 1980.

I saw him in concert a few times back in the day. My favorite song of his is "6-Pack To Go". Most of his songs had a little sense of humor in them. I loved him....goatee, cowboy hat and all!!!
