It's not that simple - the color isn't a mix, it's based on the genes.
We know he is homozygous for blue (bb) but we don't know whether you are hetero or homo for brown (BB or Bb).
If you are both homozygous for your color then your child is 100% likely to be heterozygous (Bb) brown.
If you are heterozygous (Bb) brown then your child is 50% likely to be heterozygous (Bb) brown and 25% each likely to be homozygous blue (bb) or brown (BB).

It all has to do with genetics and eye color is very hard to predict. Some babies even get a completely different color than both parents...it's all in the genes!
My sister has bright blue eyes and her husband has brown eyes. Both kids have blue and grey eyes. My mom has blue eyes my dad has brown. Mine are green but my sisters are bright blue. One color is not more dominate than others.
Good luck!

Brown is the dominant gene for eyes. But that doesn't necessarily mean that they WILL be brown. It all depends which genes of yours and his made it into the baby! Even some couples with both of them having brown eyes can sometimes have different colored eyed babies. It all depends on which genes you and your partner carry. If you have blue eyes in your family, you could very well be a carrier of a blue eyed gene that got passed along. All you can do is wait! Good luck!

it all depends on your genes: for the baby to have a chance at getting blue eyes, you must have a gene for blue eyes, because there are two genes. Its like this: B=Brown, because brown eye color is much stronger than blue, so b=blue. If your eye color genes is Bb, then that means you have the blue gene! And your husband has to have bb because thats the only way of getting blue eyes. So if you have Bb, and he has bb, that means your baby has a 50% chance of blue eyes, but you never know, nature does the work... hope this helps. I'm 15 and I learned this in biology honors my freshmen year so trust me I know what i'm talking about! Hope you understand! :-)

the baby will most likely have brown eyes, but could have either blue eyes or green eyes, if you are heterozygous for brown. The genotype for blue eyes is bbgg and the genotype for brown is B_gg, B_G_, or B_GG. The genotype for green eyes is bbG_. The B_ means that the loci could be BB or Bb, same with G_. The B loci is for brown and the G loci is for green. A blue eyed person is recessive at both brown and green loci. So it is hard to predict what the baby will have seeing that you have such an array of genotypic possibilities with your eyes being brown. If you were both blue eyed then all of your children would have blue eyes.

most likely brown eyes because brown eyes are dominant to blue eyes. Unless you are heterozygous dominant, which means you have a portion of a recessive blue eye trait, theres a likely chance your boy will have blue eyes. but sometimes eye colour is determined by incomplete dominance, which means a trait different from the parents is produced. For example, you have brown eyes and your husband has blue eyes, so the product may be green or hazel eyes.

It all depend on whose eyes have a dominant gene. If your brown eyes are the dominant gene of both of you then your baby will have brown eyes. If your husbands blue eyes are dominant then your child will have blue eyes. There is the third possibility that it shall be in between. So your child might have light brown eyes or amber eyes.

More than likely dark brown will be her eye color because it's dominant however if your hubby carries blue eyes as a recessive gene then your baby may have blue eyes but more than likely she'll have brown eyes and carry blue eyes as a recessive gene and her child or grandchild will have those blue eyes.

Usually brown eyes are the most dominant. I'm in the same situation, I have brown and my hubby has clear blue. I'm hoping for the blue eyes but I think I'll be disappointed.

Most babies are born with blue eyes because of the nutrition that they get in the womb. After 6 months they will be the color that they will actually be. (Usually) Brown over takes blue especially if he carries brown eyed genes.
Good Luck

Most likely dark brown. Blue is a recessive trait. They have a better chance of being blue if a parent of yours had blue eyes.
