I have a pair of mesh shorts and they were washed and dried. When I took them out of the drier, there was gum caked (and very thinly so I don't think freezing would work) to the front.

Any suggestions on how to get it out?

Try to stick more gum on top so that the gum is more thick. Then freeze it! This is what I do and it works! Good Luck and God Bless!

Put them in the freezer. Wait 1/2 hour. The gum will solidify and freeze. Then the gum will break off the mesh.

Yes, put them in the freezer, but when you take them out put a couple of ice cubes on the gum. When it freezes it should peel right off.

here is what my gramma told me to use on gum when i used to get gum stuck everywhere. she would either use mayonnaise or peanut butter. both worked well but both seem like such a weird thing to use. good luck

take an ice cube put it in a baggie so you don't make the shorts wet... put it directly on to the fabric... when it's cold enough you should be able to scrape it of with your finger nail...

this worked for me when I had gum on one of my nice shirts.
