I'll do a few of these for you.

2. What can cause evolution in a stable population? Evolutionary changes are usually brought on by changes in the environment.
a. If different predators arrive in the area, then different means of survival may become important. Maybe the previous predators didn't get the prey that were fast enough to run away, but the new predators don't see the prey that are well-camouflaged.
b. If the climate changes, then the new environment may favor those individuals that can survive with less precipitation, with hotter fires, or whatever the new circumstances may be.
c. If there is more pollution, only pollution-tolerant variations will survive.

3. Genetic drift is the gradual change in a population that happens by accumulating small changes. Over time the population is still the same species, but it has just gotten slowly different than the way it used to be.

Natural selection is the idea that only those individuals that are able to survive will live long enough to reproduce and pass their characteristics on to their offspring. Over time, those characteristics will become widespread in the population. Natural selection will only happen when there are variations in the offspring of a population. Since more offspring are produced than can possibly survive, some of the offspring must have some kind of advantage that let them survive when the others did not.

5. Natural selection is described in my answer to number 3. Directional selection means that conditions favor the members of the population that have an extreme form of a characteristic (ex: the longest beaks or the fastest running speed). Diversifying ... if this is the same as disruptional selection ... favors the extremes of the population and not the average individuals. Stabilizing selection favors the average individuals and not the extremes (ex: average-weight babies have a higher survival rate than babies that are too large or too small).

For question one million, tell the scholars to divide the denominator by utilizing 2, and be taught the numerator to the quotient. e.g. 23/40 8 so 40 8 divided by utilizing 2 is 24... on the grounds that 23 is decrease than 24, 23/40 8 is decrease than one million/2. For question 2... nicely... on the grounds that they're all valuable numbers... 0 is obviously first on the grounds that fractions are numbers in between 0 - one million .. meaning one million is likewise the final quantity.. meaning you at the instant might desire to artwork with the different 3 fractions.... From right here, you could upload onto what exchange into discovered in question one million... see which fractions are greater suitable than one million/2 (the only one is 5/8) meaning it extremely is the biggest fraction... now you're left with 2 fractions to handle. Umm, has your classification discovered approximately Lowest elementary Denominators? for that reason... the lcd is one hundred ten (11x10) which makes the question lots greater handy.... in an attempt to get one hundred ten in 3/10 you are going to be able to desire to multiply the numerator and denominator by utilizing 11... getting 33/one hundred ten as for 3/11 multiply the two by utilizing 10... getting 30/one hundred ten... now.. on the grounds that the two fractions have the comparable denominator, purely placed them so as. For question 3, back, use the backside elementary Denominator concept taught in question 2. desire this helped =)
