Catholic: I think of churches, priests and things. I also thought of jackdaws, and the book I'm currently reading (Barnaby Rudge).

Carrots: The first thing I thought of was "Mmm, I fancy a carrot now"!! Then I thought of the fridge ('cos it's got carrots in it...)

Maybe you are developing a list of phonetic pronunciations of the "ca" sound? Otherwise, I don't see what the words have in common!
