Is remy only in the comics or does he appear in any of the movies?

Gambit? No, but his name is mentioned in X2.

Remy LeBeau (Gambit) was one of the names listed in the computer Mystique accessed in X2 and Gambit was in the script for X-Men 3: The Last Stand. He was supposed to appear in the prison convoy scene where they free Juggernaut, Mystique, and Multiple Man. Josh Holloway was offered the part of Gambit, but declined it because it was too similar to Sawyer, the character he plays on LOST. Shortly after, Gambit was cut from the script.

No. The filmakers said that he was too much like Wolverine (cool) so they left him out.
