I noticed no one much is talking about the video tape put out just a couple of days ago where he supposedly threatened Israel (blood for blood) this time. Have we just become so accustomed to hearing him spout out threats that no one is even listening anymore? Is OBL in Pakistan alive and well or could he threatening to use Pakistani nukes against Israel to get the US to pull back in Iraq?
Conservatives....If he is alive what is the reasoning behind not bombing every cave between Afganistan and Pakistan to end this reign of the king of terror?

He's alive. How else could he keep making tapes ?
Of course we COULD bomb everymountain and valley in the area. Then again not knowing if he is in the mountain area we might end up killing thousands of innocent people and NOT getting OBL anyway. This would be treated as a war crime and the USA would be sued by Pakistanis and ostracized as a hyppocrite.
The very argument that the terrorists themselves use is that it is valid to kill innocents in order to reach a higher goal and indiscriminate bombing of Waziristan would be just that. In an ideological war the moral high ground is critical.
The Pakistani military is hiding OBL and the U.S. government knows but cannot prove this. Musharraf figures that as long as he is at large he can keep U.S. support for himself and his regime by arguing that he is a critical ally in the "War on Terror". OBL also helps him in his war in Kashmir. Pakistan is not suicidal and neither are any of the leaders it has had. It will not nuke Israel to please OBL or anybody else.

50-50 From the Intel we have he is supposed to have serious renal problems and Dialysis is not readily available in the caves where he resides.
"BUT" this man is akin to the Islamic version of Adolf Hitler ... and 'spiritually' speaking "Satan" has a way of preserving his Muslim sons until he's ready to blow them up and take countless innocents with them!
Osama is alive, maybe not all that well, but until we can go into the Pakistan region and flush him out ... there's really no telling.

Should there be a treasonist element in the USA, Bin Laden will be allowed via passivist inaction to blow something else up.
Should the Americans be doing their job, as millions of Americans have employed them to do do ( with appreciation of course), then they will catch him alive so we can see that he is caught.
In the mean time, he does not need to be a daily reminder in our lives.
Who cares is just about accurate.

He is dead. He was found in a cave in Afganistan last year and they bombed his shelter. He was just the beginning of the terrorism...there are more to seek and destroy...we don't want them to know we have him. It would just ruin our mission to counter attack all the cells of the Taliban and al Qaeda.
If we do not destroy them, they will destroy us...the US, and Israel, the chosen people of God. It has turned into a war of religions. They want to destroy those who believe in Him, before he comes to judge the living again.

Alive! I don't see what's so difficult for everyone to understand about that. Not everything has a complicated evil conspiracy behind it. Believe it or not, Bin Laden IS still sending messages and making videos. They were not pre-made before his supposid death.

I'd lie odds that we is dead. But, there is also a possibility that we are protection him and will do him in when the time is right. The '08 election might every well be the right time, if he's alive, to expose and kill him.
