Now that's a very good question...

I expect that there'll be a general cloud over all banking stocks until the subprime loan situation works itself out. Never underestimate the ability of markets to overreact to bad news and to send stocks below even a minimal resonable valuation. They may be very good long term buys at this point, but you have to be willing to suck up a major drop in the near future.

Great idea. Look for investing advice from strangers. You don't know their qualifications or motives..... but still you seek them out. You could be on the road to hurting your financial future.

I can tell you this much.... WM and C have no bottom on a five year chart. It's any ones guess. And that's exactly what you'll get with your question. How well do you catch a falling knife?
