Civic or Accord coupe? What trim level?
That's a little high for a base Civic coupe...they sell for barely more than that new. But heavily optioned that would be a good deal. For an Accord, yes, that's a good deal.
They are reliable, and they are safe.
As for whether they're boring...well, you'd have more fun with a full-on sports car. But Honda emphasizes handling more than any Japanese car company except Mazda. You can have fun in a Civic or Accord. Compared to most Toyotas it should be a revelation, handling-wise. Well, if you have a feel for such things.
Oh, and a base Civic or Accord coupe isn't really a sports car. Just because it has two doors does NOT make it a sports car. Whether even an Accord V6 coupe or a Civic SI is a sports car is debateable.

No, don't spend $13,000 on a 3 year old economy car. For less you can buy a brand new new Suzuki Reno, or for slightly more than $13000, a Forenza. I recommend looking for a slightly older car in the $6000-8000 range.
2002-2004 Pontiac Grand Am/Oldsmobile Alero are great cars at good used prices. Look into them.

Hondas are great cars. Reliable and safe.
$13,000 for a two year old coupe is too high.

i admire the interior the 2006 yet i think of the 2005 seems greater acceptable from the exterior. If I have been determining on, i could take the 2006 using fact I spend greater time utilising than observing the automobile. If the visual attraction replaced into important to me, nevertheless, i could elect the 2005 with the caveat that it will look date somewhat greater without delay than the '06, being a prior-technology physique form.

Well the styling is above average-not the best, but it has outstanding reliability and powertrain. It's what matters the most inside, not outside.

It's not a good deal. a car depreciates 25% the moment it leaves the showroom. This car is 3 years old plus 25k miles ( which is ok).
A 2008 new civic nicely equipped runs for $18,000. Long story short:
1. Honda civics are very reliable
2. there are no exciting cars under $ 30k... so dont let this be a factor when buying a car..or these morons saying buy american. Hondas are built in america by americans and sold in america by americans and the profits are reinvested in America. Do some research you clowns.
3. Bottom line.. . this car should be priced around $ 10,000..negotiate with the dealer
hope this helps...good luck

i would really search to buy an Si model it will have better resale value incase you change your mind.... they are realiable cars but just like most other four cylinders once it gets near 60k miles you will need to replace the timing belt which can sometimes be costly.... I honestly would choose the scion Tc since it looks nicer is faster than the civic of that year and is a toyota which you already like
Choose the Scion Tc you should love it
