We have these two jerks who came to Texas since times got tough for work in Basten (the way they pronounce it) and live and breathe the Bosox and Patroits. They act so childish when their team wins or loses. We are ready to raise the Confederate flag and declare them Yankee prisoners soon if this continues. They badmouth the hometeam and insult our Southern way we about to tar and feather them and ride them out on a rail. Any suggestions from you Boston folks if I have not made you angry from this cry for help.

Get over it. There are ignorant people every where you go. Who cares if they act immature over sports? Most people do it all the time. Do your work and ignore them. It's not that serious. And I'd say you're being rather childish to rant about this. And no, I'm not from Boston nor do I like their teams. I am a proud Clevelander.
Plus, you Texas folk are the LAST to complain about someone's accent. Seriously.

I think you are going to have to chalk it up to cultural insensitivity. They should acclimate over time. As a former massachusetts yankee living in indiana, it is hard not to have a blast with how well all our boston area teams are doing.
by the way, I travel a lot and Cowboy fans are equally obnoxious when the team is doing well. and boy was it hard when the Rangers were kicking butt in hockey. You guys never even skate.

No I'm not angry.. I guess that's cuz I've lived in somemany places. What you need to do is get the boss to set up a meeting where he either badmouths their teams or rules it all for your teams. Or have a meeting where he explains that they need to shut up. Either way they should realize they need to be quiet about it and learn everyone hates them.

I'd take them to a good old boy Texas Barbecue and try to let them see how we do things in Texas. As far as them making fun of your southern ways just ignore them. I know it's hard because I'm an old hill billy and it plucks my nerves when people make fun of my roots.

of course if this doesnt work you always do have the option of kicking the crap out of them.
