Don't ever try to go back completely.
Move forward with your life and learn from the mistakes you've made. Remember the things you liked about yourself from before, and strive for them now, but don't try too hard to be something specifically defined...be true to who you are now. Live each day fully and be mindful of everything/everyone around you.

We are all beautiful, soulful human beings. Some of us just get a little misguided now and then.
Forgive yourself for the things you don't like or approve of and just move forward.

Peace, love, light.
~Namaste'~

You definitely can go back. Your life isn't over! You just have to take it one step at a time and find out what about you now you really hate and work with that. Step by step try to stop the actions that your doing that you hate. You can change yourself to become well, the happier you but if it's artificial then it won't work. You really have to want to be a better person, to be a better person.

Honestly I think that's a lot of analyzing ones self. Just try starting fresh and slowly. You'll become more comfortable with yourself this way and you won't feel like your a fake.
Hope that helps

It is never too late to change.

You may have some scars of the person that you are now but ignore them and become the person that you want to be.

It is possible and don't be so hard on yourself. Do the thing that is hardest for most people, forgive yourself. You will change into a better person than you once was.

you should do whatever makes you truly happy. If you hate who you have become, then why stay that way? there is always time for change. In the end, you will just be miserable if you have become someone you hate, and if you wait too long you wont be able to do much about it. Being true to yourself is what you should do. and if you arent sure what being true to yourself means, then do what you know makes you feel good. trust your instinct. and its ok to make mistakes, because thats how you learn. become the person that you are truly happy with, that you have no regrets about.

The only constant is change. We all change and are always becoming something new. You are growing into more of yourself by your experiences. If you just can keep the qualities you like about yourself and move on you will just keep growing into who you prefer to be. Forgive yourself and move on..life is here to live and learn..just be yourself and enjoy the ride of discovering the beautiful person you are.

If you hate who your becoming then you should try and change. Act how you want to be. You can't go back, but you can move on and go foward. You never have to be any way you don't want to be. You can change yourself. You have to keep at it. Change your thoughts toward the way you want to be. Figure out what your values and morals are...what you think is right and wrong...what you like and dislike and go from there.

By recognizing that you have become someone you hate is a start. Drug users and alcoholics are a perfect examples of that. They all deny the fact that they have issues. By recognizing the fact that you have become someone you hate, you have already began the process of going back to someone that you were.

It is possible. You should at least try to be a better person, and try to be the person that you once were, it sounds like you don't like the person that you have become. try to do things for others, and break your old habits.

I think its easy to do if you are young. harder if you are old. Wen you're young every day is an opportunity, literally. life can take all sorts of paths. so many opportunities to learn about who you are.
