PS I am obviously not a professional and I do not think I am
I think you have that oh I'm in the moment and I have to do something with this time. It's strange and can be dangerous. You should try calming down more when you have these episodes. Like try to bring yourself back to the normal and think about what you were going to do. I think you just get too anxious over silly things and I do find it weird, over dog food? Anyways hope you figure it out.

you've heard of dayshavue ,, I don't know how to spell it ,, but you know what I meen , it's a trick of the mind , but it seems so real , It's like No NO I've done this before I know I have ,,no really ,, but usually it' occures when you are a little short of sleep and instead of yaunning you hear this event in that bubble that would be a yaun if your yauning reflex were being activated , well thats what you are experiencing when all these things start lining up to coinside with each other ,, it's not nessecerally a trick ,, but it's an occurrence that like dayshavue cant be changed or even controled , and wouldn't even be noticed by you if you werent dealing with some other stress of some sort ,, these coinsidences occure but go un noticed and have sence forever .. don't try to controle them or figure them out , it's a waist of time and energy ,, enjoy your life , God will make sure these events don't give you reason to fear ,, but give it to him he's got these things looked after,, seriously , 1st corinthians 13 just stick with that , it's as good as God wants you to do it . just relax and enjoy your life ...!

You know what you're describing sounds like a compulsive disorder... You had to fix it NOW. The overwhelming feeling is anxiety. Now just because it sounds like it could be these things, it might be more simple like you're just going thru a stressful time and your nervous system is over reacting. If you're worried though, it wouldn't hurt to talk to a professional. it could put your mind at rest, both literally and figuratively.

It sounds like you should go see a doctor, but you should also try to slow things down when you have these "episodes." Try to get yourself in the habit of just sitting down or doing something relaxing when these moments occur.

You may be suffering from anxiety. Like you said, you may want to see a psychiatrist. I believe that anxiety is very managable these days when you receive the proper treatment.

sounds like anxiety. I know so many friends with anxiety and there's help. Don't freak out about it, just go to the doctor and discuss it with him. You are definitely not alone. Good luck!
