If I do persue a career in the legal field what type of lawyer should I become?

You need a logical mind and excellent reading and writing skills. I don't know enough about you to know what type of lawyer you should become!

I've volunteered at my mom's law firm and most of the "strong" lawyers are articulate, don't use slang, and are very good at editing, proofreading, grammar, and writing. Though there are different characteristics to different types of lawyers. But, there is a LOT more to it than just being good at arguing.

You need wisdom and insight. You'll also need the ability to separate your personal short sightedness from the big picture, systemic, greater good.

you need to be able to get out of trouble easy and be a good arguer.lol

you will need an absolute lack of concience for when you get people who you know have raped and murdered out of prison/
