its a birth control shot you get every month in the bum or arm. it is suposed to help you stop having periods but just screws up the skin and causes weight gain. when i had it i had a cycle for a year. i strongly recomed not to do it. may i suggest ortho tri cyclen lo if you interested in pills.

It is a birth control shot that lasts for I believe is 6 months. I would not recommend it. It causes weight gain in a lot of people and when I had it, I bled almost at least every other day there was something. If you are looking for birth control, check out the Mirena IUD. It has low hormones. They put it in, check it a month later, and then you are good to go for 5 years unless you want it out sooner to have a baby. You still have to go for a PAP every year as usual. I know a few people that used the depo shot and blew up. They got real big and they were small girls. Hope I helped you out.

It is an injection you get every three months that I'm appalled is still being administered to women.

You may not ever get a period, you may get a normal period, you may spot at odd times, you may bleed for MONTHS on end on this shot.

There are far far many negative effects than positives. I'd never ever recommend it to anyone.

I was on it for some time, and I'm so glad I'm off of it.

its a birth control shot that goes in through ur butt and u can get it at ur obgyn once a month i belive
