I was just reading a book by a former Harvard professor and psychologist, and she addresses this and says that in her practice she has come to realize that most people feel unheard, misunderstood and therefore alone. I think we all feel alone (and lonely) from time to time. This is part of the human condition, but it should not be something we dwell on or we'll get depressed.

We feel lonely.

That's why you are curious.

We all feel alone in many ways, or atleast fear it. (Equatable to feeling lonely)

If you have your parents then you are not alone. No one will ever care for you, worry for you or love you like your parents. So appreciate and love them while you have them. After them, no one is really there for you, then you are alone.

If you are talking about aliens from 'out there', then no I do not believe we are alone.
We humans are very limited in our technology and can only travel so far and our mightiest telescopes can only see so far.To believe that we are the only ones in the infinite vastness of space is just human arrogance...or lack of imagination.

In the universe? Highly doubtful, given its sheer size.

If you mean alone in some other respect, you'll have to be more specific.

Of course. There are other people in physical existence but NO ONE can possibly know exactly how you feel...and what you are going through.
