easy target for investigation? No former first ladies have this kind of a background. No charges were ever filed against her because of the lack of evidence. Bill rose from poverty to becoming the President of the United States. Does their treatment give people some incentive to achieve in this life or will there always be those delight in beating motivated people down? Is this the thanks they get for their service?

Hillary and Bill Clinton were the targets of investigations promoted by back stabbing republicans,just because they were in the White House.
After years and millions of dollars spent to "investigate" them there were no indictments,but the objective was to force them to defend themselves and spend a lot of money on lawyers.
Politics is a dirty business and it takes a person with a very thick skin to survive.One common trait of these persons is ambition,they want the power and notoriety that goes with the office and once they are elected the try to promote theyr views and ideas.Very few people do it for the money,they could make Lot's more in the private sector,the real pay-off is theyr term in office and theyr names in history books.

The Clinton's have come a long way. But along the way to success, they either willing or unwilling got into some very bad situations . they have been linked to a lot of shady thing were they were true or not .Until people just don't believe them or trust them very much anymore. Book after Book has been written about them. I suggest you read them and make your own decisions of these two Good luck
