I can't really see the date very good, but can't find anything on the "net" telling about old coins. Any takers on the value or where I might find out about the value?

It is not a coin but a medal. There must be some writing on it other than the date. It also seems odd that he same thing is on both sides. More info is needed for anyone to even try and really help you. Being a medal or a token you may find little info on line. You have to at least know something about it, or it could take years, or never to find info. I need to know what is exactly on both sides. You can see if a coin club is in your area for they must have a few medal collectors and they might be able to help.

If the date is correct, then it's a fake. The U.S. government didn't start minting coins until after 1792.

And 1765 was even before the American Revolution, so all George Washington was doing was farming.

Check online for "Coin Collectors" or "Coin Dealers" in your area...
