my love life for 2008? Is this the year for marital bliss? How about for you?

I predict that you and Bobby Boucha will be married on the Jerry Springer Show, during which he and Johnny Trash have a drunken brawl over you. You will discover you are preggers on Valentine's Day, with triplets! BB will pretend to be happy for about as long as it takes to hitch hike to the nearest bus stop and zoom off to Mexico, where he will be found 7 months later holed up in a Mexican jail for having a tail light busted out of the horse driven farm wagon he was riding on. But by then you will have moved on and hooked up with Pimpster Spitty who will be your birth coach and life partner, and live in Chucky Cheese's ball pit happily ever after. (Or until her 5 kids become jealous over the new babies and punch the singing bears into oblivion.)
For me, my love life will suddenly become the most insanely popular subject of interest on YA (after I've had my hemorrhoid surgery) and Flyindustman proposes to me over Marla Singer's extreme objections during which she stabs herself in the armpit to prove her love for me, but I finally run away to Tahiti with Buk, who just never could stop huffing my gold paint, and we live happily on the beach for ever after. (Or until I have to clean out his sock drawer.)

Never say never Dots. I am predicting that if you put yourself out there (you must do that in order to get somewhere) then your chances of finding Mr. Right increase exponentially!! Just laugh .. and smile ... and enjoy every day of your life and THAT will draw others (including men) to you. A positive attitude does more for a person than any other factor combined.

For me? I'm not so sure about "marital" bliss. First I have to find a good guy who isn't a drug addict ... isn't homeless ... isn't a stalker ... and has a job!! Is that too much to ask?? I think not! Soooooo ... this may at least be the year ... for "bliss" of some kind. I know I have met a couple of wonderful people here that have encouraged me and lifted my spirits ... so I am ready to "put myself out there" as I suggested to you!

Hey ... perhaps we will find it together. Uh ... that is separately, but together, if that makes sense! lol And then next year we can celebrate together!

Whatever else may be ... I am determined 2008 is going to be GREAT!! I won't have it any other way!

Peace and the Happiest of New Years to YOU!!

I don't believe that the world will end that soon. People also believed that the world would end in 2000 but we still survived 8 more years didn't we? What makes this time any different? People do need to take a hint with global warming and stuff, but if some one tells them the world is going to end, then they might believe it and end up destroying the Earth themselves. Nostradamus may have predicted this, but there were many things he predicted that didn't follow through as well. People can believe what they want but nobody will know anything until it happens.

I sure hope it is sweetie! You deserve nothing less!

As for me, well I think the marital part is a bit premature, but the bliss seems pretty likely!

Here's to a happy, loving 2008!!

In numerology I am told if you add the numbers together they represent certain things and a 1 as next year will be, it may mean single, or alone.

Let us hope that is BS.

The old adage Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me comes to mind here

In my case of course....I wish you all the marital bliss you can stomach :)

I wish you much love Sister and I hope marriage is in your future, if that is what you are wanting. For myself, I'm not looking for love, I am not ready for it. Of course that is always subject to change. We shall see. * Marriage is definitely not in 2008 for me*

I can't make any predictions but I CAN say you have more chance of "achieving your objective" if you go about it the right way. Expecting Mr. Perfect to just drop into your lap is not realistic - and THAT is the key: Don't waste your time on fantasy or sitting around pining if what you want is to meet somone who holds similar values for a real, committed relationship. Be serious AND practical about it. Use your resources, i.e. your family, friends, collleagues - don't be afraid to explain your predicament but put them to work! Surely they all know at least one decent single man - they need only make the introduction, YOU do the rest for yourself. Also, what are the types of places/activities your Mr. Right might be interested in? Would he be a member of a sports club rather than hanging around a bar? Or attending lectures, church groups, community volunteer groups, etc., etc.? You may not meet Mr. Perfect - but you have more chance of doing so this way than just sitting dreaming about it. And, by the way, no man/woman is an instant, perfect husband/wife but they can grow to be - that's after you know, respect and adapt to each other. In some ways you shape each other.
Anyway, first things first! Good luck to you - get out there with confidence, i.e. knowing that some lucky man might be meeting you very soon .....
