John Lennon sang lead vocals on this song.

Just a note ALL their songs are listed as Lennon/McCartney.
Except for George Harrison's songs.

Answering this question is like asking a parent to pick their favorite child. I can only answer by saying that I love both songs and each of them were unique and the first of their kind. Hey Jude was the longest single recorded at the time. Singles were 3 minutes at the most and this song was 7 minutes with the fade out. Strawberry Fields is one of the songs that marked the Beatles studio years. It was innovative and helped bring in the massive use of orchestras and other instruments and sound effects in music. If I had to listen only to 1 I would pick Hey Jude simply because it is longer and I could hear it longer. But I would rather not choose and listen to them both along with all the others. Wishing there had been time for more to come.
