I have an 89.6 average, and i take challenging courses. Really, my gpa was killed my soph year but i improved it to a 94 my junior year, and my senior year so far is going strong. my sat scores are 1800 and i am in alot of clubs- and a president of one. i know i am a little below the average but i was wondering do colleges look past a year if there is alot of improvement?

Colleges look at your overall GPA usually . . . and they will notice the improvement.
Your Gpa is good.
I don't think you will have a problem, you are higher than an avg american student's grades.
As an international student, I am sure you will get accepted.

From what I can see, your SAT is right in the middle of their average, and while your grades seem okay, it is hard to tell without translating them into a 4.0-scale how well you fit their profile. It doesn't seem too far off, so I would say that at least you have a shot.

Yes but not a great one. Your GPA is low and your SAT score is only average among applicants. Good luck though!
