not really stupid - odd yes but not stupid. Hawaiian Punch does not necessarily come from Hawaii. i would think that it gets its name from the fruits and juices used which would be tropical and readily available in that country. in oz it could just as easily be called a Queensland punch for the same reasons.

I seriously doubt it. All it is composed of is sugar, fructose syrup, artificial sweetener, and artificial flavor. All of that can be found just as easy in any state.
