There will be both men and women in your building. However, on a single floor there will not be men's and women's rooms right next to each other - either it will be 2nd floor men/3rd floor women or there will be a lounge separating the different genders rooms.

Coed means both men and women.
If a dorm has coed floors, that means both men and women will be staying on that floor or wing.

It means that both men and women live in the building, but don't live right next door to one another. Each floor or wing contains only men or only women.

Coed means that both men and women live in the same building, however, they do not live on the same floor as the opposite gender.
