Sehwaq will be back for the 2nd test i reckon and will open with Jaffer. dravid will go back to 3, Tendulkar 4, Ganguly 5 and Laxman 6, Singh would be the one to get dropped

i think of the selection of Karthik or Sehwag is via the fact the they open the innings. and with the kind Jaffer is in, he's rather to no longer take a seat out. And your group selection is extremely exciting. we could have 6 batsmen interior the gang with one all-rounder ( right here, Pathan), and and characteristic area for Zaheer, Ishant and R.P.Singh to have form interior the bowling. Ishant and Pankaj have the top ingredient going their way and could make the ball bounce. So my group for the boxing day try is - interior the order of batting: a million. Wasim Jaffer 2. Karthik / Sehwag 3. Dravid 4. God (Sachin) 5. Ganguly 6. Dhoni 7. Pathan 8. Kumble 9. Zaheer 10. R. P. Singh 10. Ishant My rationalization for unlikely with Yuvraj is that India prefer a actual opener to get used to the situations first and eliminate the 1st hour ghost whilst the ball does slightly. So Viru or ok.D.ok is reqd with Jaffer. so that they cant decide for experimenting and that too in a try. And Yuvraj has to play extra attempt to get into the groove. he's an stylish batsman yet no selection. And the comparable for Laxman too. however the acceptable JUDGEMENT would be seen purely AFTER hear THE PITCH checklist. SO GOK???????

Dear marleyman,
I did not watch the 2nd innings, but at least on paper Dravids performance has been dissapointion. Jaffer had a good streak against Pakistan warranting his presence in the side. However, the same cannot be said of Dravid.
I think they should include almost anybody to change this present combination. Dravid seemed to be completely grafted to the crease. He needs some time off to rethink/ reivent himself. Australians have got him in a terrible vice.
He is a gentenlemany guy and has been a good performer, and I wish him all success in the future.
Sincerely
Rehman

I strongly feel that Wasim Jaffer and Virendra Sehwag will be opening in the 2nd test.

Seriously at the moment it would not matter who they would out in at open bat... Dravid 5 runs off 69 balls or something ridculous like that??... Tendulka is about the only batter there of whom has any idea of how too bat, sorry thats being unfair too Gangully... but 2 out of 11... hmmmm

Jaffer is now settling in opening slot and we can not forget his performance of double hundred and play in england. if sehwag has to play then he may take place of yuvraj or dravid
